Sergeant First Class Nicholas Cressotti is originally from West Springfield, Massachusetts. Before joining Six-String Soldiers, he served as an instructor at the U.S. Army School of Music and performed around the world, including with the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe International Band. Throughout his career, Sgt. 1st Class Cressotti has performed with artists such as Toots Thielemans, The Coasters, The Drifters, Ray Parker Jr., Nelson, and many other distinguished musicians. His international appearances include festivals and events like the Klaipeda Jazz Festival, the Dubrovnik Wine & Jazz Festival, and the Curacao Blues Festival. He holds degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Holyoke Community College and studied with Dave Shapiro, Bob Ferrier, Jeff Holmes, and Salvatore Macchia. Sgt. 1st Class Cressotti is dedicated to musical excellence and is proud to share his passion for music with audiences worldwide as a member of Six-String Soldiers.
